Main Definitions

This is the section where the reference (lookup) data selected from lists on Product Definition screens is managed. The records in this section form the basis for standardization, fast data entry, and validation rules.

Usage Notes​

  • The Code and Name fields can be displayed in the interfaces in the "Code – Name" format.
  • Inactive records can appear in selection lists with the "(Inactive)" label.
  • A main definition cannot be deleted if it is used in other records; it is recommended to set it as inactive instead.
